The Phoenix Project // Jan Schilt MSc HRD, GamingWorks, Nizozemska

Many organizations are thinking about starting their DevOps journey. For many of them, this is an unknown area. New ways of working, now terminology, new culture, new team structure and many challenges. This simulation will help teams to understand the essentials of DevOps without going to deep into the theory. This one day workshop is based on the book “The Phoenix Project”. GamingWorks has the worldwide exclusive rights to have this simulation. The team of 9-11 employees will play the characters in this book and will challenge a growing number of business requests, features and issues. They must finish the Phoenix Project on time and to achieve this, the only solution is to change the way of working. The team starts to visualize the work, create flow, work as multifunctional teams, focus on customer value and increase the number of deployments and the deployment success rate. In this simulation the team will experience the same aspects. They can freely experiment, explore and learn. VEČ...>>

Vloga design-thinkinga pri projektnem vodenju in upravljanju storitev IT

Delavnica združuje 3 sklope: "projektno vodenje", "upravljanje storitev IT" in "oblikovalsko razmišljanje".

Sozvočje in nepogrešljivo medsebojno dopolnjevanje "projektnega vodenja", "upravljanja storitev IT" in "oblikovalskega razmišljanja" se izraža predvsem v "sodobnejši", k uporabniku usmerjeni izvedbi prvih dveh: projektnega vodenja v luči agilnega pristopa in upravljanja storitev IT, nadgrajenega s sodobnim pristopom DevOps.

Stanje in trendi digitalizacije v Sloveniji // prof. dr.

Predavanje bo predstavilo ugotovitve raziskave.

Case Studies – Practical Agile // Nino Sipina, Hrvaška

Methodologists like PMI, ITIL, Prince 2, Lean Six Sigma, Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, Extreme Programming… should always adopt their approach to reality of a company or a client. Neglecting client's corporate culture and specifics may provoke resistance and result in project
failure. Ability to dynamically and selectively adjust the approach, behaviour, communication style or even methodology are critical success factors of the project. The presentation will shortly introduce several transformation case studies of various size from presenter's 30-year work experience in various industries (Oil & Gas (Netherlands); Telecom; Civil works and IT). Some of these companies drives transformation managing transformation projects. Some of them manage transformation on-the- move in small incremental steps. Some transformations are driven by implementation of new IT solution and some by other drivers. The common result is that all of them become Agile businesses after transformation although some of them do not even know what “Agile”, “PMI”, “Prince 2” or “Lean Six Sigma”. mean. The objective of presentation is to introduce some key success factors (adoptions) used during transformation independently of above mentioned methodologies. These adoptions those do not exclude methodologies rather complementing their capabilities.  Using these adoption, you might be able to transform organization of any size or industry (including governmental) into dynamic, flexible, fast adoptable (Agile) organization like today are Start-Up’s.

Marjan Bradeško bo v uvodu podal svoje dolgoletne prodajalsko-projektne izkušnje, povezane s storitvami na področju IT. Poudaril bo pomen:
• sodelovanja prodaje v zaključni fazi projekta in v analizi le-tega.

Prav tako bo Marjan Bradeško podal svoje videnje in izkušnje o tem, kje in kdaj mora projektni vodja sodelovati s prodajalcem, v kakšnih primerih ga mora obveščati – in kako hitro.

Poslovni vidiki mikrostoritev, cloud-native aplikacij in DevOps – izzivi in priložnosti // prof. dr.

DevOps, Transformation and Service management in 2020 // Robert Stroud, ZDA

The one constant in the lives of us all is change! Change is accelerating, adoption of disruptive technologies, the growing savviness of the business community and untethered access to technologies and the advent of low-code, no code is accelerating velocity. This business appetite for rapid innovation mandates that we must accelerate our throughput whilst delivering quality, security and availability! Delivering at the “speed of business” is pressuring our traditional approaches to management calling into question our practices, procedures and tooling. Meeting these demands mandates the adoption of agile development methodologies across whole business including Operations, to meet business change requirements. Enter DevOps! DevOps, a fusion of Development and Operational processes bridge the perceived (and sometimes real) gap between Dev and Ops (security, audit and Enterprise architects as well) to accelerate velocity. Does the focus on DevOps require tossing out your investments in existing frameworks? Can you fuse them together to meet business expectations? Have we finally solved the challenge of delivering synergy between development and operations?

V podporo temu je sektor IT pripravil razširjeni ITSM koncept, ki predstavlja okvir, s pomočjo katerega IT učinkovito zagotavlja IT storitve in je istočasno kompetenten sogovornik drugim sektorjem v podjetju. V okviru predstavitve bo predstavljen razširjen ITSM koncept.

Turning elephants agile and making them stay that way // Grzegorz Szałajko, Poljska

Changing large enterprises is not an easy thing, especially when you touch the foundations of their management culture. Those being highly regulated are even more challenging to move forward, as there is always some legal excuse that cements the status-quo. But, it has been done successfully in several large organizations and that success can be repeated. This presentation is a practitioner’s retrospective on things that worked well and those that didn’t when corporations were trying to go agile. It also summarizes steps that are necessary to take in order to make the agility stay and even evolve further. The entire content is presented from strategic perspective that goes well beyond single departments such as IT. It’s because you can’t turn the elephant agile by making only one leg flexible...

mag. Primož Panjan

Mercator

Nekaj zadnjih let sektor IT intenzivno uvaja principe ITSM v organizacijo in Primož primarno vodi to področje kot krovni svetovalec in vodja projektov. Poleg tega sodeluje ali vodi druge aktivnosti v organizaciji, na primer upravljanja tveganj delovanja IT na korporativnem nivoju, prenovo ISO dokumentacije, notranje in zunanje revizije in podobno.

dr. Zdravko Zupanič

Šola retorike Zupančič&Zupančič

Fellini je leta 1960 ustvaril »Sladko življenje». Dr. Zdravko Zupančič je potemtakem starejši gospod. Z mlajšo frizuro. Ko je vrag odnesel šalo, jo Zdravko ukrade in privede ljudem nazaj. Argumentacija je satira. Nespodobno je igrati spodobnega predavatelja. HOMO RHETORICUS tri desetletja govori o govorjenju. Redka vrsta.
